Nemu is a very quiet and shy young woman. While she isn't afraid of large crowds or anything similar, it is her habit to blend into the background as much as possible. Intensely loyal to her father (sometimes to a fault), she does whatever Mayuri tells her to do without question. She has been raised to think that her father knows all of the answers, no matter how often or little someone may tell her otherwise. Another strange part of her upbringing is that Nemu doesn't refer to her father as 'father' or 'dad'-- rather, she calls him 'Mayuri-sama' as a show of respect. She doesn't seem to have much interest in anything besides her father's experiments, but does show more than just a passing interest in pornography. The difference between her and someone like Yadoumaru Lisa, however, is that Nemu doesn't seem to understand why most people are either shocked or appalled by that particular medium. To her, it is a simple representation of procreation, and shouldn't be a big deal to anyone. She is also rather blunt, and will ask many intimate and sometimes embarrassing questions to get to the bottom of something, if it interests her. Intelligent in her own right, she acts much more mature than her 20 years (experiencing some of the things Mayuri put her through made her grow up too fast). She seems to have a small fascination with Ishida Uryuu, possibly one of the only humans she has ever showed an interest in, although no one (possibly not even herself) could say what exactly it is about him that fascinates her.
